    • According to a 11-Feb-1939 article in the St. Cloud newspaper, Warren was an attorney, graduate of both St. Cloud Teachers College and the University of Michigan. His father, mother and daughter also graduated from St. Cloud Teachers College. Hewas president of the Board of St. Cloud State Teachers College from 1941-1948; he had served since being appointed initially in 1939; in 1950 Stewart Hall, the main building of the College at the time, was dedicated in his honor.
